My Sister's House

Hello Again From The French Hen's Nest,

Have you ever stayed in a place that was so comfortable, calm, and warm that you didn't want to leave?  That's how I feel when I stay with my sister.  All of my needs are fulfilled without asking, the bedroom envelopes you in warmth and loveliness.  The meals are excellent, and the company is loving and caring.  I always end up staying an extra day, and when I leave, I feel refreshed, totally calm, not a worry in the world, like I've lost ten pounds of stress.
My (her) bed is so comfortable, and one thing that I love is that my sister always lays out some comfortable lounging clothing for me to wear, I always look forward to this.
We have the best time together, we enjoy the same television movies or series, always go shopping, and go out for lunch.  It is a home of peace and love, and you can feel it.  I just don't get there often enough.
Here are a few pictures of her lovely home.

My comfy bed dressed in Laura Ashley

Love the way she has decorated her mantle

This is her comfy spot

She has papered the back of her bookcase, great idea!

I love this bunny, isn't he cute?

Pretty as a picture

Shells I brought from Emerald Isle

Blue and white in the kitchen

Pretty gardens

Just looking at these photos makes me feel comfy and cozy.  Looking forward to my next trip.  Hope that you enjoyed the visit.

Till Nest Time,

  13. I like the silver tray hanging under the picture and the comfy chair. How fortunate you are . Good that you leave feeling refreshed and losing stress as stress surely can weigh one down. Emerald Isle surely has some nice big shells, I am still trying to get there.

    1. Hi Betsy, I like the silver tray as well, think she put that vignette together very well. I really can't even describe how refreshed I feel when I leave there. Keep trying Betsy, it's worth it. Have a great week.
