Hello Again From The French Hen's Nest,
Have you ever stayed in a place that was so comfortable, calm, and warm that you didn't want to leave? That's how I feel when I stay with my sister. All of my needs are fulfilled without asking, the bedroom envelopes you in warmth and loveliness. The meals are excellent, and the company is loving and caring. I always end up staying an extra day, and when I leave, I feel refreshed, totally calm, not a worry in the world, like I've lost ten pounds of stress.
My (her) bed is so comfortable, and one thing that I love is that my sister always lays out some comfortable lounging clothing for me to wear, I always look forward to this.
We have the best time together, we enjoy the same television movies or series, always go shopping, and go out for lunch. It is a home of peace and love, and you can feel it. I just don't get there often enough.
Here are a few pictures of her lovely home.

I see why you like to stay there! Lovely and relaxing. My mom's house is like that, it's like being at a B&B. She even has a water carafe with matching glass by your bedside in case you get thirsty during the night! Take care - Dawn
ReplyDeleteHi Dawn, your mom's house sounds good too, hope that you get to stay there often. Not everyone can make you feel that special, right? Thank you so much for the visit.

DeleteJeannie.
I like the silver tray hanging under the picture and the comfy chair. How fortunate you are . Good that you leave feeling refreshed and losing stress as stress surely can weigh one down. Emerald Isle surely has some nice big shells, I am still trying to get there.
ReplyDeletebetsy
Hi Betsy, I like the silver tray as well, think she put that vignette together very well. I really can't even describe how refreshed I feel when I leave there. Keep trying Betsy, it's worth it. Have a great week.
DeleteJeannie

How lovely to have a sister whose company you enjoy so much. It is obviously reciprocated otherwise your sister would put out the lumpy pillows and the holey sheets to move you on quickly!Actually looking at your sisters gorgeous house I doubt she has such things but you know what I mean!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the calm and warmth!
Wrenx
