Hello again from The French Hens Nest!
It's Christmas in July! We thought we'd share a little Christmas Tea with you!
We're using the pretty rose cups Linda recently found at a consignment shop at 75% off! Aren't they pretty? Red roses for Christmas.
To serve the tea we're using the silver teapot that was also a recent thrift store find. We have it all shined up along with the pierced edge silver tray and pretty silver spoons.
The center piece is a silver pitcher filled with pine, cedar and holly, that we gathered from the garden.
With all the shopping and decorating, we were just too busy to bake, so we popped into Dunkin Doughnuts and brought home a delectable selection!
What an indulgence in such a busy season but- we deserve it!
Merry Christmas in July from Linda and Jeannie!

Good morning ladies,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tea time you have for us! Your china is so pretty and a do-nut shop is the perfect solution when one is too busy or it's too hot to bake! I would love to join you! Thanks so much for coming to my Christmas in July Tea. Enjoy your weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
Those teacups are lovely. The flowers on them are so delicate. Pink or red transferware always make me smile.
