Hello Again From The French Hen's Nest,
Spring, Spring, Spring! That's what everyone is talking about, as I look out to a muddy back yard with no sign of life, and I'm freezing inside. I see all these colorful pictures, everyone getting ready for Easter, but I see nothing faintly resembling Spring. We had snow flurries just the other day, but all this excitement must be about something.
I've been sick with a virus this week, and the weather has been all over the map, but I did notice the sunshine had finally come out. I always feel better when the sun is shining, I love to sit in the chair by the window, and just soak it in. I started feeling a little down, it's the time of year for changes, out with the winter and in with the cheery spring. What changes will I make?
Since the sun was out, I decided to take a little stroll in my back yard, and look for the signs of spring that everyone keeps talking about. And among the muddy yard and winter debris, I did find signs of a new season, new life, hope, something to look forward to.
Here are a few pictures I took on my little stroll, yes, I always take my camera with me. There is nothing spectacular, just small signs of new life, with the promise of more to come and that is something to be happy about. Isn't that what spring and Easter are all about?
