Paris Grey Coffee Table Turned Bench

Hello Again From The French Hen's Nest

I did have before pictures of this coffee table, but can't seem to find them. I found this coffee table on the side of the road in my neighborhood.  It was painted white, is kidney shaped with pretty trim, and castors on the legs.

I thought I could sell it, it was in great shape, and very shabby chic.  I put it on Craig's list and there were no takers. I tried this a few times and no takers.  But in the back of my mind, I could see this table as a bench at the end of my bed.  So it's been sitting around for a while and I decided to upholster it, and turn it into a bench.  Photos are a little blurry, sorry.

I decided to paint it pale blue, but it was too pale, so I decided to  paint it grey.  I love Paris grey, it goes with everything.  A little dry brushing over the blue, and I was happy with the result.  I added foam and batting, and covered it with canvas.  I like the beige and grey together.  It was a little difficult to upholster because of the shape, but overall I'm happy with the result, and can't wait to use it in my room.

  5. The shape is really cool for a bench. Way cooler than a coffee table. I would love it if you would share this at my link party.

    1. Good Morning Ally, Thank you, I love the shape as well. Where I live, everyone puts their furniture pieces in one place before it's picked up by the trash, it's amazing what they put out.

  12. Thanks so much for stopping by!! I store all of my decorations up in my floored attic since we have no basement. I do have a storage shed that we rent for the larger Christmas items.
I will be posting about my Weight Loss Journey soon and my progress so I hope you will stop by again.

I love what you did with this bench! I think it came out stunning!!
