Hello Again From The French Hen's Nest,
As you may know, I'm still staying with my daughter, which means that I don't get to decorate as I usually would for Fall. And I was thinking this morning, that I always find inspiration at La Bella Luce, because it's always decorated beautifully for each season. I knew that I would find Fall decorations, and other lovely items there, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. I'm going to share some of the photos I took today, hope that you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed being there.
Just a reminder, La Bella Luce is located in Historic Clifton, Va. Ginger was holding down the fort today. The chandeliers and antiques are imported from Italy and France. Also it is owned, and managed by military wives. I absolutely love their decorating style, and would encourage anyone visiting the DC area to take a little trip to La Bella Luce.
There is a candle in there! |
I pulled it up so that you can see it. |
Love the way the front porch is decorated |
This would be so pretty on my daughter's table |
The dining table is dressed for Fall as well |
Love the chocolate cake candle |
The mantle says that Halloween is on it's way |
Love the iron blackbirds |
Aren't these pillows great? |
A little taste of Tuscany |
The Fall leaves look so pretty on the chandelier |
Pretty bench at the top of the stairs |
Blue and white are always a favorite |
This chandelier is gorgeous, it would look great in my house |
Pretty blue teapot |
I have many more photos, which I will put in another post. I just wanted to feel the Fall. Thank you
La Bella Luce.
Till Nest Time,
Jeannie

Oh what a fun tour. I would love to visit that shop! I want those blackbirds. You could use them with sunflowers for summer and right through the fall! BTW I noticed your following me now. Thanks for coming by and visiting.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you leave with a smile and a little encouragement.
Have a wonderful week!
Thank you, I love this shop. I needed to read that scripture today "Be still and know that He is God", my mantra for the week. God will bless you for the work that you do, I will keep you and the children in my prayers.
DeleteHope that you have a wonderful week as well.

Good Morning Jeannie, It is lovely to catch up with you. I am in love...... I adore the chandelier with the turquoise droplets.... it is stunning. The blue teapot is an English teapot, but do you know, for the life of me, I cannot think of the name of the company. They produce a range of items including bowls, cups and saucers and lots of other wonderful things. I think it would be wonderful to take a stroll around La Bella Luce..... I would have to make sure my purse was full with money though.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend.
Best Wishes to you.
Daphne
Good Evening Daphne, It was lovely to hear from you again. Daphne, I'm in love too, I fell the first time I laid eyes on it, about six months ago, and I think about it every day. It is Murano, and it's just beautiful. I was so happy to see it last time I visited, I thought it would have sold, but maybe it's meant to be. I'll check out the teapot next time I go, if it's still there. Hope that you are well, and enjoying the Fall weather. Think I go see what you've been cooking lately. Take care, and thank you for the visit.
