Pretty Blooms

Hello Again From the French Hen's Nest.

I wanted to show off the pretty blooms and plants in my little garden so far...

Verbena

Scabiosa

Lambs Ears in morning dew

Foxgloves grown from seed

My first poppies!

Rose Campion and Shasta Daisy

New perennials popping up every day!  Most I started from seed "wintersowing" http://www.wintersown.org/   .   In another month the garden will be full.

Hope you enjoyed the garden photos!  Wish you could smell the Magnolias!

Peace,
Linda

  4. Good Morning Linda, I am sorry I have not been to visit you in a little while, but I have not been receiving your updates..... and I'm not sure why. I thought you had been a little quiet recently, so I popped over to see for myself and what a treat I had in store, your beautiful garden.
I love foxgloves and I grow mine from seed as well. As the flower heads dry I collect the seeds and sprinkle them in the ground during Autumn and up they pop each year. They are so graceful and I love the fact that they don't need staking.
Your garden has the look of an English Cottage Garden..... my favourite style of planting.
Well, I shall make a point of catching up with your other posts and I will pop over once a week to say hello to you.
    Best Wishes as always,
    Daphne
