Hello Again From The French Hen's Nest,
The weather has been absolutely beautiful the past few days. This always inspires me to walk around Old Town, Alexandria. The homes are gorgeous, and all are different. I took some pictures of a few lovely historic homes, and I'm sharing them with you.
Old Town was established in the 1700's, well known politicians have spent time in Alexandria, historically, and present. It is just down the road from Mount Vernon, and of course across the Potomac River from Washington, DC. In the summer it is packed with tourists from all over the world. Full of history and beauty, it's a lovely place to visit, and live.
Hope that you enjoy the photos.
This home is actually a beautiful gold color, very pretty.
Well, that's the end of the tour, this is just a very small sampling of the lovely homes of Old Town, Alexandria. Hope that you enjoyed the tour.
Till Nest Time,
Jeannie
