Fall In Old Town

Hello Again From The French Hen's Nest,

Hope that you are enjoying this beautiful Fall weather.....a lot of rain lately, but that's alright, we need it.  This is the perfect time of year to walk around Old Town Alexandria, one of my favorite places.  So much to see if you're a lover of nature and decorating.  No matter how many times I go, there is always something new to see, and it changes beautifully with the seasons.   I was looking for a few homes that were decorated for Fall, and I found some that I'm going to share with you.  Love the pumpkins in the transom window.   Hope that you enjoy the walk.

Very simple and elegant

It's still so warm that the flowers are lasting

One of my favorite homes in Old Town, isn't it decorated beautifully?

This should be on the front of a magazine
Isn't this lovely, again simple and elegant

This is between the house above and the one below

Love the colors, they certainly say "Fall"

Pyracantha

I wouldn't have done this, but I'm loving the red on red

Hope that you've enjoyed a little of Old Town, there is so much more to see.    And hope that maybe you got a few decorating ideas, I always do.

Till Nest Time,

Jeannie

  5. Such pretty doors. I love the red door. Red isn't a color I normally care for, but it looks great with the molding

    1. Hi Donna, I love the pumpkins in the transoms, wish I still had a transom. Pumpkins actually look good over a door that has a wider trim over the door. Thank you for taking the time to stop by.
