Tea Time?

Hello Again From The French Hen's Nest,
Isn't she just lovely?  I really love the Blue Willow pattern, it just never grows old.  Once I had a service for ten, but when downsizing, decided that it should find a new home.  Now, I mostly use white plates and china.  I find that you can use them with any color scheme, and they make a beautiful table setting.  Anyway, back to my teapot.  I found this new, in the box at Goodwill.  It was only $8.00, and worth every penny.  It will go perfectly with my white service.

Well, I'm ready for tea, but where are my sisters?  That's right, it's time for another visit.  Because there is no one I would rather share a pot of tea with than my sisters.

Please hurry up, tea is getting cold.

Have a beauteaful day!

Till Nest Time,

Jeannie

  9. Blue Willow is a lovely pattern and I love it on the teapot! I, too, have white dishes that I use every day and it's great to be able to mix and match! They were handed down from my mother-in-law so that makes them all the more special!! Yours are very pretty with the design around the edge!
Happy Blue Monday a couple of days late!

  10. The legend of the blue willow china is just wonderful! The story of Koong and Chang who fell in love but she was forbidden to marry him and was locked in the house. The gardener took pity of her and and let her out. She is seen crossing the bridge with Changand her father in hot pursuit. Once they reach the island - they turn into 2 love birds and fly away!

Thanks for linking to Friends Sharing Tea!

  18. Happy Blue Monday :) What a lovely teapot, a real treasure. Blue and white is my favourite combination.

PS. I did take that serene photo in my last blog post. It was a beautiful day in the park with my hubby and kids. I took a short walk down to the jetty and enjoyed the view... took a few photos and relaxed for a few minutes :) ~Pernilla
