Latest Thrift Store Finds

Hello Again from The French Hen's Nest

I haven't found a great piece of furniture to work on lately, but I have found a few interesting things, and I'm going to share my latest thrift store finds with you now.

I found this set of sconces at the Salvation Army thrift store, as you can see they were pink.  I painted them a pale blue, and used them in Em's Christmas Bedroom.  The candles are wood, no chance of her lighting them.

My next find is paper roses.  They are white and so pretty.  I found a whole, unopened box at GW for $4.00.  I've made two arrangements, one for Em's room, and one for my living room.  Love the white.

Pretty bouquet next to the bed

I found this Empire bench at GW for $20.  I think it would look great at the end of a bed, with a pillow, and a stack of books..  Right now, I don't have a place for it.  Maybe later I can rearrange my bedroom furniture to accommodate it.

This wall plaque is beautiful.  Again no wall space available, but think I will hold onto it for a while.  Plus I only paid $7.00 for it.

Isn't the detail beautiful?  The size is about 26"x 36".

Well, I hope that you have enjoyed seeing my finds.  I certainly enjoyed finding them.

Think I'll go find a place for this plaque....

Thank you for visiting, have a wonderful day.

Till Nest Time,

Jeannie
