Simple Fall Dinning Room Decor

Hello Again From the French Hen's Nest,

Hope that you are enjoying this beautiful weather, not too hot, and not too cool. Fall is my favorite time of year, just wish it lasted a little longer. It has been so warm, that my garden is still in full bloom, my tomatoes are still growing like crazy. I love it, but it's time to decorate the porch, and the dinning room with fall colors. Guess I'll have to put the porch decorations off for a little while.
However, I can do something in the dinning room. Here a few simple decorations for Fall.

A Trip For My Sister

Hello Again From The French Hen's Nest,

Hope that you have enjoyed your summer. Mine has has been especially nice. It's always good when I can spend time with my children and grandchildren. I was able to go to the beach with them and it was so nice.

Have you every visited the Crystal Coast of North Carolina? It's absolutely beautiful, the beaches, and the surrounding small towns, the islands are a must see.

This summer my older sister, Georgia, and I went to the beach for a couple of days. We are also very close friends. She could only go for two nights due to responsibilities at home. She lives in the town where we grew up, and my mom, who is 93, also still lives there. My sister is the one my mom calls for whatever she needs. She takes her to appointments, constantly goes to the store to pick up something, and takes care of her finances. She has the patience of Job, and certainly needs it. I always feel a little guilty that most of the responsibility falls on my sister. So, to give her a break, I made reservations at the beach, and told her that we would go wherever, do whatever, and eat wherever she wanted. We had so much fun, two days of total peace, fishing, beaching, and good food. When I delivered her home, she was completely relaxed.

Hoping to plan another get away for my sister. She loves the mountains, so maybe a drive up to the Blue Ridge Parkway is in her future. Fall leaves will be here soon.
